AMP DEVELOPER/MARYLAND SHA TO DISCUSS PROPOSED ROAD IMPROVEMENTS

Developer Fred Nichols and the Maryland State Highway Administration will present plans for road improvements at Route 108 and New Hampshire Avenue at a meeting on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 7 pm at the Ross Boddy Community Center on Brooke Road in Sandy Spring. These are improvements to be made in conjunction with the proposed Ashton Meeting Place development. It should be noted that SHA representatives have stated that the changes planned are considerably more extensive than what would have been required if the AMP were not being built, and will require more than a year to complete.

We urge all interested citizens to attend and learn what is being proposed.
